People Who Pick Up Accents Easily Are Nicer People

Accents. Ever notice how easy it is for some people to pick them up? Ten minutes in New York and an Australian voice is already adopting the American drawl. Or traipsing around London and you find yourself starting to articulate the ends of your words in a more precise way? It’s called The Chameleon Effect; it’s when we subconsciously copy someone else.
