This questionnaire aims to gain insight into the medical professions current attitude toward chiropractic.  The study population consists of a selection of 150 medical practitioners in general practice. The questionnaire is to be mailed to each medical practitioner with a covering letter and a pre-paid self addressed envelope enclosed.

The main body of the questionnaire aims to address the following areas: attitude to and knowledge of chiropractic; attitude to spinal manipulation; referral of patients to chiropractors or for spinal manipulation; training in and practice of spinal manipulation and knowledge of and attitude towards the level of education chiropractors receive.

The participants are to be instructed to provide personal details such as gender, age and years in practice. The main aim of this section being to determine any correlation existing between attitudes and years in practice.
