The study will take the form of a survey that will be mailed to one thousand medical practitioners in general practice and hospital employment. The distribution will be 500 at random to the metropolitan areas of Sydney, and 500 allocated at random to the various districts throughout rural New South Wales.

The survey will consist of a series of questions concerning Chiropractic, ranging from its’ educational requirements, referral to Chiropractors, and general knowledge of the Chiro­practic profession.

-Some questions will be of the YES/NO form.

-Another form will test the validity of the response via a brief description.

-Others will be on a graded scale.

Each medical practitioner will be sent a copy of the survey with instructions explaining the purpose of the study. A stamped, self addressed envelope will also be included to improve the-rate of return.
