A correlation of the prevalence of cervical hypolordosis, as determined by spinographic line analysis, in patients:
– with a cervical pain presentation
– with no cervical pain presentation
Sixty lateral cervical radiographs will be utilised, thirty of patients with no cervical region pain presentation, and thirty of patients with no cervical symptomatology. Â Patients presenting solely with headache or brachial pain will be excluded from consideration.
An adaption of Hildebrandt’s method for the calculation of the depth of cervical lordotic curve will be employed.
The findings of this investigation may be helpful in both prognosis of patients with cervical pain, and indicating a predisposition to cervical pain. Â This would be a useful tool in chiropractic preventative treatment regimes,
